Leak: Sony C6603 “Yuga” to come with 13 MP camera

I know that you’re probably more interested in the Odin C650X phone now that the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit together, but let’s switch some of that attention back to the C660X Yuga, another high-end Sony device rumored to be released early next year.
As some of you might remember, we first heard about the Yuga upon spotting a benchmark that revealed very little about the phone. However, with early rumors saying that the Odin might be accompanied by a bigger, 6-inch brother, we put two and two together and came to the conclusion that this Yuga might be that same crazy 1080p display S4 Pro powered phablet.
This is just wild speculation at this point, but we are starting to get more material evidence supporting an impressive spec sheet for the Yuga. A Picasa sample picture supposedly taken with the “giant” has been leaked, and points towards the featuring of a 13 MP rear-facing camera with an Exmor RS CMOS sensor and f/2.4 aperture.
13 MP cameras are the highest standard for super-phones nowadays, but then again some might have hoped that Sony would be able to up the ante even more in this department, seeing as the Xperia T and V are already sporting such cams. So, no 15 or 16 MP shooter for the Yuga, but this still looks darn impressive.
The Picasa photo also confirms that Sony’s upcoming handheld runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean (listed as 10.1.A.0.270). However, there is a good shot that, by the time it’ll get released, the Yuga will get itself some Android 4.2 goodness.
6-inch 1080p display, quad-core S4 Pro CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP camera and Android 4.2. What more could you want? Well, besides a release date and pricing details…
