eBay Daily Deals has 16GB unlocked Galaxy Note 2 for $579

eBay has put up the Galaxy Note 2 for the great price of $579, with free standard shipping. This is the second round on this deal, so if you missed it the first time, don’t let today’s listing slip by. The amazing ‘phablet’ is originally listed at $799 and with some searching can be found for as low as around $650.
This white, 16GB model is Samsung’s very well received next entry in the phone giant’s Note platform. An improved S-Pen along with added functionality like Quick Commands have made the Galaxy Note 2 a very worthwhile update. Its larger size over that of typical smartphones allows for written commands and note taking, while the large screen makes viewing videos and pictures even more enjoyable. As an international model, this Galaxy Note 2 works on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) and 3G (HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100) bands, but is not compatible with 4G LTE. It features an 8MP camera and sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display at 1280 x720 resolution. The 1.6GHz quad-core processor allows for a fast user experience, and the already mentioned 16GB storage capacity can be supplemented with a microSD card.
So, with this device at such a great price, what are you waiting for? Go check it out! If you’re looking for an off-contract deal on the Galaxy Note 2, this is likely the best price you’ll find for a while. The deal is on for today only, so there is only so much time left in order to snag one.

Deal: Samsung Galaxy S3 50% off at Best Buy today

If you’ve had your eye on the Samsung Galaxy S3, but haven’t yet made the leap to purchase it, today might be the right day. As previously reported, the S3 is part of Best Buy’s Deal of the Day, selling for 50 percent off, today only.
The deal doesn’t mention a specific carrier, but when I took the deal for a test drive, the only carrier option presented to me was Sprint. It isn’t clear if other carriers may be options depending on your location, but I tried the deal with multiple zip codes and still found Sprint was the only option presented. Still, it’s $99 for a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3, so depending on your carrier preference, this could be for you.
Are you planning to use this deal to get yourself a new Samsung Galaxy S3? Or have you already got one? Have you got any tips for potential buyers?

Verizon selling 16GB Galaxy Nexus for $50 with contract, also comes in refurbished flavor for $230 off-contract

Verizon selling 16GB Galaxy Nexus for $50 with contract, also comes in refurbished flavor for $230 off-contract

As it approaches its one-year anniversary, the Galaxy Nexus is still going strong and hasn’t lost its shine among Android enthusiasts. We’re not sure if that fully applies to the Verizon variant, but for those who are looking to venture into the world of the Nexus, Big Red has some sweet deals on the pure Google phone.
Seemingly coming out of nowhere, Verizon is now offering a brand new 16GB Galaxy Nexus for only $50 with a two-year contract. If you don’t want to be tied into a contract, you can purchase said phone off-contract for $499. You may be paying more up front, but you’ll probably save more dough in the end.

If you’re not too keen on the idea of splashing out almost half a grand for a phone that’s about to give up its throne to its successor in the coming days, Verizon is also selling a certified pre-owned 16GB Galaxy Nexus. The refurbished unit is being offered off-contract for $230.
Whether or not it’s a wise move to buy a “used” phone is yours to decide. But Verizon said that the pre-owned device has been “thoroughly inspected and reconditioned to like-new condition”. Fortunately, it also comes with a full 1-year warranty.
The LG Nexus 4, the next Nexus phone, may be just a week away from being announced, but we don’t know for sure if it’s going to come to Verizon right away. Are you tempted to snag the deals above?
